No — we use surge-protected, ECU-safe booster packs instead of car-to-car cables. They are safe for modern cars with start-stop, for hybrids, and for vehicles with sensitive electronics.
We test the battery and alternator on your driveway. If the battery is finished we replace it straight away — we carry standard, EFB and AGM batteries and can register or code the new one on cars that require it, such as Range Rover, BMW and Mercedes. Every new battery carries at least a 12-month warranty.
Roughly 30–45 minutes of driving (about 15–20 km) lets the alternator refill the battery — a run along Sheikh Zayed Road does it. Avoid only short hops inside the community straight afterwards, or you may be stuck again the same day.
